Managing Your Reservation

To make a change to your reservation, email us at contactus@cruisebound.com.  You can also view and manage your reservation at Cruisebound.com or on our mobile app, including the ability to:

  1. View your sailing information and reservation details (such as cabin number, guests, payments/balance, cancellation policy, etc).
  2. Make a payment and/or update payment information
  3. Update dining time
  4. Make changes to your reservation
  5. Add travel insurance
  6. Cancel your reservation

To login, you will need your Cruisebound Confirmation Code as well as the email address you used to book your reservation.

How do I add gratuities?

Gratuities are an additional cost on top of your cruise fare between $16.50 - $20 per person/day. 
If you would like, the gratuities can be added to your booking and paid prior to your sailing. Otherwise, they will be automatically added to your final bill at the end of your cruise. If you are interested in pre-paying gratuities please let us know and we will check pricing for your sailing. 


How do I add a package?

You can add packages (such as drink packages, speciality dining, airfare, excursions, etc.) directly through the cruise line.  Go to www.cruisebound.com, and login with the email address you used to book your reservation. Once there, you'll see links to the cruise line under Reservation Details.

How do I add hotels?

By booking with Cruisebound, you will have access to book hotels at a discounted rate. Log into your reservation at Cruisebound.com or by clicking the link in your confirmation email to see exclusive offers. Keep in mind that to modify or cancel your hotel booking, you will need to contact Booking.com directly by clicking here.

How do I add flights?

Once you book the cruise, you can look into adding air and transfers once you register with the cruise line. You always have the option to compare flights on your own as well.  Cruise lines usually offer both a cruise-only price and an AIR/SEA price that includes connecting airfare, transfers between the airport and ship, and baggage handling. In some instances, only the cruise-only fare is available. The prices shown on our site are typically cruise-only, but you should see the full range of options once you register with the cruise line after you complete your booking.

How do I change the passengers in my cabin?

Most cruise line restrict passenger modifications once you're close to the sailing date because the passenger manifests have been finalized.  Therefore, if you need to add or remove a passenger, we recommend you submit your request as soon as possible!

The cost to add a guest to the booking is determined by the capacity of your cabin.  If your cabin can accommodate an additional guest, we can add the guest at prevailing rates. If your cabin cannot accommodate an additional guest, we will need to look into moving you to another cabin category, as long as there is availability.

Removing a guest from your booking can incur a penalty fee with the cruise line of up to $150.00  and may not result in a refund for any portion of the original guest fees.


How do I change my cabin?

The ability to change cabins depends on the ship's availability.  If there's availability, then pricing is based on prevailing rates, and change fee will also be determined by the cruise line based on whether you are staying within the same category and/or cabin type.

  • Cruise ships generally have four cabin types: Interior, Oceanview, Balcony and Suite. 
  • In addition to the cabin types, cruise lines price their cabins according to cabin categories based on location, amenities, and other criteria specific to the cruise line or ship. 

Can I move to a cabin next to or close to my friend?

There are a limited number of connecting cabins available on most ships, and they sell out quickly! That said, we can always check to see what's available, and try to get you closer if not directly next door.

I realized that I can't travel on the dates I booked!  Can I change my sail date?

A sailing date change must be approved by the cruise line. If approved, there will be a penalty fee (as determined by the cruise line). Also, the difference in price between the old sailing and the new one will need to be paid when the change is made. If you booked within 24 hours, contact us immediately. Otherwise, we recommend that you cancel and rebook, if you are outside the penalty window.
